A mere 0.42 AU away from earth when I took 75 x 90 second exposures of this comet. At less than half of the distance of the Earth to the sun, the nucleous is showing some surprising details with a shock wave as well as a faint anit-tail. This is the closest approach this apparition of its 6.4 year orbit. perihelion was on November 2.

If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
